बीजे में कुल आठ प्रश्नपत्र होंगे। इनमें सात पेपर थ्योरी के होंगे। इनमें 70 अंक की सत्रांत परीक्षा एवं 30 अंक का आंतरिक गृहकार्य का होगा। आठवां प्रश्नपत्र बीजे-08 का प्रश्नपत्र व्यावहारिक कार्य का होगा। इसके लिए कोई पाठ्य सामग्री नहीं दी जाएगी। यह प्रश्न पत्र 100 अंकों का होगा। इसके लिए दिशा-निर्देश वेबसाइट पर दिए जाएंगे। यह प्रश्नपत्र विद्यार्थियों को परीक्षा केन्द्र पर देना होगा। इसमें समाचार पत्रों, चैनलों और समाचार वेबसाइटों से मिलने वाली जानकारियों के आधार पर सवाल पूछे जाएंगे। इसमें समाचार लेखन, अनुवाद, इंटरव्यू, फीचर, स्तंभ लेख, संस्मरण, यात्रा, खेल, भेंटवार्ता, मेले और प्रदर्शनियां तथा अखबारों-चैनलों में कामकाज की शब्दावली के अलावा सामयिक महत्व के विषयों पर सवाल आधारित होंगे। इसमें कोई भी सत्रीय गृहकार्य नहीं दिया जाएगा।

Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) has its own legacy in the area of research. The VMOU  is the first open university to start Ph. Examination Pattern:

On complete of minimum duration, i.e. six months, a candidate will be examined by the examination of three hours duration in each paper. The maximum marks in each course (Paper) shall be 100. To pass examination a candidate will have to obtain a minimum of 36% marks in each paper. The successful candidate shall be classified as per university grading rules.

Note: The case study is to be prepared by the student and be signed and sealed by the Advocate under whom student has worked for the case and to be submitted to the Controller of Examination of VMOU, Kota. Counselors may be consulted for that.

SOLID STATE PHYSICS

Admission eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University in any discipline with at least Second Division.

Lateral Entry: A student shall be admitted to M.Sc. (CS) final year if he/she has passed PGDCA of VMOU or PGDCA of any recognised University with at least second division in Bachlor’s Degree provided that 70% of the syllabi is common with that of V.M. Open University.
